Tab	Field	Description
General	Description	A description of the Start event.
General	Trigger Type	Based on the trigger type, the process flow is instantiated.The following are the trigger types. Message: The process starts with a defined message. Timer: The process starts from the scheduler. No Message or Timer: The process starts when it is triggered.
	Input Message Note: This field is visible only when the activity is that of a Receive Message activity or when the Trigger Type is Message for Start.	This text box appears only if the selected Trigger Type is Message. tree on to the Start event.When you have a receive message activity in the business process, you need to associate an input message to that activity. If there is no message specified for the receive message activity, then the business process will not be executed from that receive message activity onwards. Note: You may also Add Document or Add Runtime Reference from the Select a Message window. Drag required<input message name>from Workspace Documents > Solution > Project > <business process model>
Monitoring Note: This tab appears only when the Trigger Type is Message	Configure Monitoring > Monitor Level	Enable/disable monitoring for the Start event activity. Activity status: Records activity status, timestamp, and user information. Activity status, input and output messages: Records the input and output messages of the activity along with it status.
